JBJs: Blowing the AFC Championship

Jets vs. Broncos

The year was 1998.

The Jets had a 10-0 lead in the third quarter of the AFC championship game. During a kickoff return after John Elway threw his first touchdown of the game, the wind (no, we’re not even making this up) blew the ball back toward the Broncos, who recovered it and tied the game with a field goal. After that, the Jets played sloppy and the Broncs won.
